Q: S3DNews Part 2.0 - Keywords and descriptions:How to make your WEB SITE perform better for your company

A: August 31, 2010

One of the mysteries of web site creation is the use of
keywords and descriptions in a site. There are many schools
of thought on these, but the biggest fallacy is that they do
not matter. Keywords and descriptions are still very
important to the success of your site.

Every page on your web site can and should have keywords
and descriptions Meta tags. You can see the keywords
and descriptions for any wab page by visiting the page then
find the View Source in the menus of your browser.
Near the top of the 'mystery language' displayed (that is HTML), you should see
a line that starts with the importance of your web page. That means your site will
appear lower in their search results.

In the next 2 parts I will discuss a bit of detail of what to
include in your keywords and descriptions.
